Getting MailMergeApp working
MailMergeApp reads a group from Contacts and hands each message to Apple Mail. The first time, macOS asks you to allow both. If you said no, or nothing happens, here's where to turn them on.
What it needs
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later
- An account set up in Apple Mail that can send
- A group in Contacts with the people you're writing to (in Contacts, choose File › New Group)
Allow access to Contacts
- Open System Settings and choose Privacy & Security.
- Click Contacts.
- Turn on MailMergeApp.
Allow MailMergeApp to use Mail
- Open System Settings and choose Privacy & Security.
- Click Automation.
- Under MailMergeApp, turn on Mail.
If you change either setting while MailMergeApp is open, quit it and open it again.
